Specialise in sports movement analysis and preparation, this consists of reviewing athletes (of all sports) perform their warm up drills and game movements understand what areas are limiting their performance or areas of potential injury. Addressing these via hands on approach on the treatment table or activation through movement reprogramming or in the gym through S&C before their training or game/race.
I also treat these athletes in a clinical setting ensuring that the athletes get a full holistic treatment aiming the treatment not just physically but more through the Bio-Psycho-Social model.
I spent a year internship with Speedworks Charity based in Lee Valley Athletics Centre, London, UK working with coach Marvin Rowe and his athletes helping to develop a elite environment for these track 100m and 200m athletes to progress and perform. One of the athletes Dominic Ashwell went to World Juniors 2018 and came 5th in a time of 10.25.
The following year I spent working with Speedworks Training coach Jonas Dodoo in loughborough I was lead therapist for athlete Drayll Neita, CJ Ujah, Daniel Bramble and Michael Zeze in there year building towards World Athletics Championship Doha 2019. I spent two weeks with Daryll whilst she competed in Doha making the semifinals of the womesn 100m and getting Silver in the womens 4x100m.
Along side this I worked with Jonas assisting him on speed development in rugby working with several premiership and international level players, from this I have had the opportunity to treat and develop athletes that have gone on to represent their country at the Japan Rugby World Cup 2019.
